Basic tools of non equilibrium statistical mechanics are leveraged to model real world complex systems in computational interfaces using microscopic and field theoretic formalism and characterizing the exponents  of  conserved and non-conserved system variables in response to the external perturbations (if any) introduced in the system and understanding the different phases that may arise  out of the interactions taking place amongst the constituent elements comprising the studied system.
